| Why did you come to LIFE? |
My Pastor now, Pat Crowder was the Dean of Students here a couple years ago so we always had tons of LIFE students at my church. One student that started attending my church started disciplining me and I would always come and stay with her and sit in classes. I just knew this was where God wanted me to be. I also didn’t apply to any other school because I knew this was going to be my home for the next 4 years of my life. I knew the professors truly care about the students and I need that as a student. After my first year, I wouldn’t be at any other college. It’s love and community here and people who are on fire for Jesus, so I chose LIFE!

What makes LIFE stand out compared to other colleges?
Our studies here are intense and we are very serious about learning the Word. Having the Bible as my textbook is amazing and I get to learn so much about the Lord while I am getting accredited units for college, so what more would I want! The people are amazing here! They are intentional about making sure you are learning and following what the Lord has for your life and help you along your journey. The Professors care about us so much. They welcome us into their personal lives and allow us to see what their ministry looks like. The faculty here are extraordinary and they will pray, cry and laugh with you at anytime. We all lean on each other since we all here for the same purpose and that is to serve God with our lives.
| What do you like most about LIFE? |
The passion that the faculty/staff and students have for Jesus and this next generation! The goal here is equip us as leaders in God’s kingdom to grow and live our lives full throttle for Jesus!
What is your favorite class / subject?
I took a class on the book of Acts with Daniel Brown and I haven’t read the Bible the same since. I study, ask questions, and dissect scripture and then apply it my life by allowing the Lord to use me as he chooses.
| What do you like most about living on campus? |
The people who I am surrounded by are incredible! We do homework together, study together and also have tons of fun together. We also have events and activities that we get to participate in almost weekly.
How did you hear about LIFE?
My pastor introduced LIFE to me. I also went to a leadership conference here at LIFE about 3 years ago and fell in love with it! The atmosphere, the people, but most of all the presence of God was tangible and I knew that the Lord wanted me to be here.
What do you want to do after LIFE / what do you do now that you are a graduate of LIFE?
The Lord had placed a dream/vision in my heart to open an orphanage/discipleship place where Human Trafficking victims, homeless people and kids from the streets can come and receive a safe place to stay. They will receive education, medical aid, be disciple and mentored, shown love and know who Jesus is! My minors will allow me to do so.
| What is are some expierences you had here at life that stands out? |
I loved Powder Puff football at the Fall Retreat! Lower classmen girls conquered the upperclassmen! The dances were amazing and so much fun! Broomball is hilarious and a great time for people to talk and get to know each other while racing in shoes on ice as your falling! I think my favorite experience was hosting Freedom Day here at LIFE. There are a lot of students who have a heart for social justice and we had the opportunity to host the event at LIFE! We had people here from all over the world for the event coming together to advocate for social justice!
How has LIFE impacted your life so far?
I have a new love for Jesus Christ and my life is His.
What is campus life like?
Very intimate and close. Everyone hangs out together. We love and encourage each as we do homework or something like playing pool in the Loop. There is always an adventure to be sought out and we sure do find it here at LIFE.
| What extracurricular activities do you participate in at LIFE? |
I am currently the Events Facilitator for LIFE Pacific so I am at all the events. It is important that I still am participating in since I am still a student though. I have participated in Broom Ball, Dodge Ball, Women’s Arm Wrestling Competition, Spring Spa, and many others.
What piece of advice can you give to someone who is considering coming to LIFE?
I would tell them to really let the Lord lead you where to go, but if you are looking for a place where the Lord’s presence is tangible and the people are real, come to LIFE and allow yourself to get trained and prepared to do what the Lord has planned for their lives.
| Would you like to give a shoutout to family and friends? |
To my wonderful family who has been helping me financially and who have been praying for me through this journey I want to say thank you very much and I appreciate all the love and support you have shown me. I love my family so much! Thank you to my friends at home that I have been away from so much because I am here and that we have stayed close and ultimately has brought our relationships closer and has allowed me to really focus on what the Lord has for my life. To my new family/ friends at LIFE for loving me when I am stressing out with my Larry Powers tests and always encouraging me to press on and encourage me in my walk with Jesus Christ. Thank you and I love you!
