Please note: Actual hours may vary; please contact The Post for the most current hours of operation. The Post will be open between 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. and after 5:00 p.m. until the Hick's building closes each day to allow students access to their mailboxes. However, all other services are only available during operating hours.
The campus post office, also known as "The Post", offers the following services to current students:
- Purchasing stamps, envelopes, Scrantons, and pencils.
- Dropping off stamped mail, and picking up packages.
- Ship & receive mail through USPS, UPS, & FedEx.
- Sending & receiving faxes.
- Leaving assignments for professors (please consult professor for appropriate method for submitting assignments).
- Lost and found items.
Every student is assigned a mailbox in The Post the first semester they enroll, which lasts for the duration of a student's schooling. Official college correspondence, personal mail, and returned assignments will be delivered to a student's mailbox. Students will be held responsible for all college communication delivered to their mail boxes, regardless of whether or not they have checked their boxes. Students are encouraged to check their boxes on a daily basis.
Sending & Receiving Mail
Mail is distributed weekdays before 5:00 p.m., except on holidays. Mail to be sent out should be dropped off at The Post before 4:30 p.m.; it will go to the Post Office on the following business day. Students should include their full, name, return address, and box number to ensure that mail does not become undeliverable. To receive mail at LPC, students should request that family and freiinds address envelopes and packages in the following manner:
