Mike Meyer is the first Vice President of Advancement at LPC. He provides leadership and strategic planning for the college’s advancement and alumni relations activities. Prior to LPC, he served as the Associate Vice President of University Advancement at California Baptist University. His background in advancement and development includes positions with the University of North Dakota, University of Minnesota-Crookston, and Special Olympics of North Dakota. Before transitioning into development and advancement, he was in athletic administration at the University of New Mexico and the University of North Dakota, from which he is an alumnus. As a Christian in the field of development, he considers it a special blessing to be working on a Christian campus.
One of his favorite verses, and one he stresses to the advancement team is: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23 (NIV). Mike and his wife, Kaye Lynn, are involved in Lifehouse Foursquare church, and he is a credentialed Foursquare minister. Mike and Kaye Lynn have been married for over 30 years and are blessed with three grown children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and their first granddaughter!
