MASL January Residency Recap

Over 130 guests, along with our MASL students, were treated to a thoroughly engaging and interesting set of lectures at the recent Open Session at Life Pacific College. Dr. Karen Longman shared from her wealth of research and experience on the vital topic of women in leadership, sharing both the inroads women have made in roles of significant leadership, as well as the persistent and systemic challenges they still face leading in a “man’s world.”

Dr. Karen Tremper shared from her current research on Foursquare women in ministry leadership, and described a culture that welcomes women in leadership, yet itself still struggles to fully enfranchise some of our most capable leaders. Together, guests and students were challenged to consider how well the ministries and organizations they lead are intentional in helping give voice to the aspiring women leaders in their midst.

Life Pacific College has been equipping men and women leaders for over 90 years, and is becoming a place where important and relevant topics and explored and discussed. Our MASL Open Sessions will continue to present expert speakers and timely topics that will challenge our students and help them grow in their own leadership.

Stay tuned for information about our next Open Session this July, and pray about joining our next cohort of world changers as part of the MASL program at Life Pacific College.
