You’re a Warrior!
If you’ve received your acceptance letter, congratulations—you’re officially a Warrior! You’re about to begin one of the most exciting times in your life as an LPU student. All of us here in the Office of Admissions want you to have an easy transition as you continue your academic and spiritual journey.
New Student Checklist

LPU Portal
As a new student, you will need to login to perform many necessary tasks before you enroll. You can locate you financial aid award, email and more using the link below.

Complete Your FAFSA & Financial Aid
A. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). LPU recommends that all students, regardless of income level, complete the FAFSA and all subsequently requested information. Students with a completed financial aid file are also assessed for additional institution and state grants.
B. Once you complete the FAFSA, you will receive a financial aid notification starting December 1, with instructions to view and accept your financial aid package on your LPU Portal. You can also check your awards below.
C. Don’t forget to schedule a financial aid appointment. *Please note financial aid appointments are only held Monday-Friday. Once you receive your award letter schedule a time to meet with one of our counselors to discuss, financial awards, loans, grants.
Financial Aid appointments are designed for admitted students and their families who have already received an award letter for Summer and Fall 2023. These appointments will last 30 minutes and will cover your financial aid awards and estimated direct cost of attendance.

May 1: Secure Your Spot #LPUBound
Confirm your enrollment with a $200 enrollment deposit, paid with a debit or credit card. This is applied to your student account. Cash, and check payments can be made in person at, the Office of Student Accounts, 1100 W. Covina Blvd, San Dimas CA. 91773. Deposits are refundable up until May 1, for Fall and Dec 1, for Spring.
- Fall New Student Orientation is August 25-27
- Spring New Student Orientation is January 13-15.

Review Your Housing Options
Complete your Housing Agreement to secure a spot in the residence halls. A $200 housing deposit is due in order to register for housing. You will share important personal preferences in order to help us match you with a compatible roommate. If you plan to commute from home within 30 miles of LPU’s campus, you can complete the off-campus petition.

Register for “LPU GO” Orientation Session
As your first experience with us as a full member of our LPU community, this weekend event is created to help fully prepare you and your family for the academic year, integrate you into student life, and inform you about the many resources on campus. It’s designed to give you all the tools and resources you need before classes start to help you be successful. We can’t wait to meet you!

Send LPU Your Final Transcripts
All offers of admission are conditional until the Office of Admissions receives your final high school and/or college transcripts. You must plan to send your final high school and college transcripts to our office no later than August 1. For transcripts to be considered official, they must be in a sealed envelope from your school.
