Academics

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the Dual Enrollment courses offered by Life Pacific University, students must be juniors or seniors in high school. Additionally, they must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and provide a recommendation from a high school counselor or teacher. Students may begin taking college courses as early as the summer after 10th grade, but they can only enroll in one course the first time to ensure they are able to meet university-level demands.

If a student successfully passes the course, LPU will allow the student to register in up to two courses (6 credits) at a time (8 weeks) to ensure academic success.

Submit a current unofficial high school transcript or a homeschool transcript showing the completion of 10th grade and the most up-to-date GPA (this can be a copy of an original transcript or a printout from the school’s website).

Demonstrate a record of academic excellence (3.5 GPA or higher).

Prospective high school students are required to submit a recommendation letter from a teacher or administrator, while prospective home school students must provide a recommendation letter from their pastor.

Course Materials

Digital textbooks are used for some of the courses in the Dual Enrollment program. While most courses have all content embedded into the online site, some may require additional books or material that is purchased separately from MBS Direct. It is recommended that you purchase your course materials at least 10 days before the start of your course(s) to ensure timely delivery. When ordering, please verify whether you are enrolled in an 8-week or 16-week course format.

  • The program allows for a maximum of 6 units per semester.
