Located in southern California, in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, San Dimas sits along the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. The city of 33,000 offers a blend of community amenities, wonderful parks and open space, as well as great recreational and community facilities. Faculty

After reviewing the job description, interested candidates may submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and statement of teaching philosophy to the faculty search committee via email to: tcollymore@lifepacific.edu. If qualifications meet the department’s needs, the Academics Office will invite candidates to complete an online application.

Adjunct Faculty Pool

The college invites applications from highly qualified individuals for our adjunct pool. While openings for theological and professional ministry adjunct faculty do occur from time to time, most available positions are in general studies, science, and math disciplines. Qualified candidates enjoy teaching undergraduate students and understand the uniqueness of our specialized college setting.

Adjunct instructors and professors are drawn from an applicant pool as the need arises, and are assigned one-semester or one-term (intensive course) contracts. Candidates for the professor position must possess an accredited Master’s degree in the appropriate field; a doctoral degree is highly desirable. Candidates for the instructor position must establish verifiable eminence in their relevant field and hold an accredited Bachelor’s degree. Instructor positions are only utilized when a professor candidate is not available for the course.

Previous teaching experience is generally required.
