Fall
LPU Connect
Each fall during New Student Orientation, the Office of Career and Global Engagement (CGE) hosts LPU Connect for parents and new students to get plugged into LPU’s campus and our local community. LPU Departments along with local businesses each have a booth and present resources and connection points for students and their families. We love the personal touch this event provides in supporting our new and returning students to our community. If your business or department would like to get involved, email CGE@lifepacific.edu.
City Serve
City Serve is an opportunity to live out our faith through love for our community and neighbors. City Serve allows us to build a community of servant leaders and empower each other to live out the Gospel. Through this LPU is able to serve San Dimas through self-sacrifice of time and by partnering with others in prayer as we live beside one another. We make a commitment as LPU to make a positive impact on our community by serving in the Church, workplace, and the world.Â
Heart My Church
It is a value of LPU to encourage students to get plugged into a local church and we want them connected with healthy, growing churches. Heart My Church is an event designed to be a bridge between our students and our amazing local church leaders, in order for students to find a church home they love. Making that personal connection makes all the difference! If you’d like your church to get involved and are local to Southern California, email us at CGE@lifepacific.edu.
Fall Internship and Career Fair
One of our favorite events at LPU is the Internship and Career Fair! This networking event connects students with employers who are offering job and internship opportunities. Beyond the value of these initial personal connections, students get to exercise and develop skills during the event itself. Students are expected to dress in business attire, bring their updated, current resume and even interview for positions if applicable. Employers can email CGE@lifepacific.edu for more info.Â
Global Vision Week
Global Vision Week is an opportunity to make a difference in the world through short-term mission trips available for everyone! Whether it is your first trip or your 10th, you are encouraged to sign up! Mission trips are an amazing opportunity for you to make a positive impact on culture anywhere in the world. The individual is able to help a community grow spiritually (as they grow spiritually) and have an amazing eye-opening experience.Â

Career Week
Each Spring we host our annual Career Week, where students are given multiple opportunities throughout the week to develop and prepare for their careers! Highlights of the week include:

- Job Shadow Applications
- Network Building with Processionals and Alumni
- Career Assessments & Coaching
- Life Coaching
- And our largest event of the week, the Internship and Career Fair

Spring Break& Summer Annual Trips
Students love the opportunity to engage the nations as salt and light through spring break and summer short-term trips. Recent trips we have been on: Cuba, El Salvador, Romania, and Israel.Â
