R. Craig Squire currently serves as interim Chief Financial Officer at The Church on The Way. He began his finance and accounting career with for-profit corporations before finding his passion in higher education. Assuming the position of Director of Corporate Accounting at UCLA which he held for 15 years, Craig Squire was responsible for maintaining the integrity and operation of the General Ledger and the accounting records for the entire UCLA campus.

Feeling a strong desire to use his skills in Christian Higher Education, Craig accepted a position at Wheaton College, serving as Controller where he was responsible for all accounting, budget and financial activity of the College. Craig retired in 2019 and moved back to his California home and to The Church on The Way, where he and his wife had been attending since 1975. Craig holds a BA from Westmont College with a double major in Greek and Ancient History, an MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, an MBA from the University of Southern California, and received his CPA from the California Board of Accountancy. Craig and Janet have been married for 48 years. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
