What is the MAC program?

The MAC program at Life Pacific University is a 60-credit, online program designed to prepare students for a career in the mental health professions. The program combines a strong foundation in psychological theory and research with a focus on spiritual formation and Christian counseling principles.

What are the requirements for admission?

To be admitted to the MAC program, students must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 2.75 or higher. Applicants must submit GRE scores, two letters of recommendation, and a personal statement. Also, Abnormal Psychology is a prerequisite to begin the program as well.

What are the career options for MAC graduates?

MAC graduates are eligible to become licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCCs) in California. LPCCs work with individuals, couples, and families to provide counseling and therapy services. They may work in private practice, schools, hospitals, or other settings.
