Hugo Aldana Jr. PhD, Assistant Professor, Director of Hispanic Programs and Initiatives

Dr. Hugo Aldana is the new Director of Hispanic Programs and Initiatives, which includes leadership over our Master of Arts in Leadership (Hispanic Program), Certificate in Biblical Foundations, and Certificate in Academic Competencies. Dr. Aldana brings a wealth of passion, education, and ministry expertise to the role. He has been an academic dean and professor at a small Hispanic educational institution with national and international influence, Alef University. Serves as an ordain Foursquare pastor in San Gabriel, CA, for the Hispanic National District, he recently published a book on Spiritual Formation and co-authored a book on Leadership in Spanish. Dr. Aldana has an M.Div. from Azusa Pacific University and a Ph.D. in Sociology of Religion. The committee was impressed with his passion for Hispanic theological education and his network in higher education.
