The BGEA Summit hosted an invitation only gathering of Hispanic leaders including denominational leaders, directors of organizations, known pastors and Latino influencers. In addition, Dr. Daniel Prieto, Director for the Masters of Arts in Leadership Spanish, was invited to speak and facilitate timely conversations.
Dr. Daniel Prieto spoke during the main session. He focused on how the message of the cross is understood within a church community that is on mission. On the last day, discussions were held on the importance of the Hispanic church in the United States. Dr. Prieto and his wife, Monica, facilitated a conversation on pastoral care and health. Included in those discussions was the Latin American director of Focus on the Family, the national leader of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, the director of Hispanic Projects at Lilly Endowment, and many more.
