Life Pacific University is thrilled to announce its partnership with Northwest Church in Federal Way, Washington, led by Pastor Ben Dixon, who has served as lead pastor since 2019. Pastor Dixon is also the founder and director of Ignite Global Ministries and the author of Hearing God and Prophesy. This new collaboration marks a significant step in bringing affordable, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled education directly to the local church.
The agreement establishes a micro-campus at Northwest Church, giving staff, interns, and congregation members access to affordable, flexible online courses taught by experienced faculty. Programs include certificates and accredited associate and bachelor’s degrees in biblical studies, general studies, ministry and leadership, organizational management, worship arts and media, and psychology. All programs are designed to integrate discipleship with academic excellence, enabling students to grow spiritually and professionally.
The signing ceremony was a historic moment, with Pastor Ben Dixon and Pastor Jared Hunt, Northwest Church’s Discipleship and Young Adults Pastor, present on the San Dimas campus to formalize the agreement.
Pastor Ben shared, “We are excited to partner with LPU as we encourage our church to start, further or finish their education. We believe this has the potential to equip an emerging group of leaders to reach and disciple more people in the church and beyond.”

The partnership highlights the value of practical ministry training, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in their congregations while pursuing their education. LPU’s flexible online programs ensure students can balance their academic pursuits with their commitment to serving their local church.
