Dr. Robert Flores, 9th President of Life Pacific University, returns to the classroom this spring.
Having spent the last forty years in ministry, Dr. Flores is devoted to pastoring churches, coaching, and investing in the next generation. He states, “I am as excited about the present moment as I have ever been. The Lord has made it clear to me that this fourth quarter of life and ministry primarily consists of investing in young leaders, and there is no greater place to do that than Life Pacific University. I am honored and humbled to join President Richey’s team at LPU.”
President Richey affirms, “Robert is a seasoned leader and master communicator with a passion for people. Having him join the faculty and invest in the next generation is exciting! I deeply enjoyed serving with him when he was President, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with him again.”
Dr. Flores will be teaching Pentateuch. He shares, “What began as a simple question has turned into an opportunity to return to LPU as an adjunct professor. The opportunity to teach the Pentateuch, which I believe is the foundation for building an understanding of God’s salvation history and plan, is so exciting to me. Grasping the themes, narratives, and character studies of the Pentateuch is crucial for graduating leaders to be well equipped to represent Christ to the world.”
The spring traditional semester begins January 17, 2023.
