Life Pacific University (LPU) has announced its 2026 Alumni of the Year award recipients, recognizing five outstanding graduates whose lives and leadership reflect the university’s mission to serve God in the Church, the workplace, and the world.

The honorees will be formally recognized at the 2026 LPU Alumni and Friends Lunch, taking place May 26, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk during Foursquare Connection.

LPU has recognized distinguished alumni for decades, and in recent years has brought all award presentations together at the annual Alumni and Friends Lunch, creating a unified celebration that allows the broader LPU community to gather in honor of these leaders.

2026 Alumni of the Year Honorees

LPU alumni awards exist to highlight notable alumni from across the LPU family of institutions, including L.I.F.E., Mt. Vernon Bible College, LIFE Bible College East, LIFE Bible College, Life Pacific College, LPU East, and Life Pacific University.

Lifetime of Service Award

Dr. Glenn C. Burris Jr. ’76
Dr. Burris is recognized for decades of faithful, Spirit-led leadership that has shaped the global Church through ministry, mentorship, and executive leadership within The Foursquare Church.

 

Kingdom Leadership Alumnus of the Year

Dr. Marion Ingegneri ’15
Dr. Ingegneri is honored for her lifelong investment in raising and empowering leaders, with global influence through ministry, mentorship, and leadership development initiatives.

 

Entrepreneurial Spirit Alumnus of the Year

Pastor Martín Ruarte ’20
Pastor Ruarte is recognized for his innovative leadership and collaborative approach to ministry, developing new pathways to reach and equip emerging generations across diverse communities.

 

Beyond Borders Alumnus of the Year

“Pastor Steve”
“Pastor Steve” is honored for his cross-cultural ministry and global missions leadership, faithfully serving in regions around the world and advancing the Gospel across borders.

 

Young Alumnus of the Year

Pastor Anais Macias ’22
Pastor Macias is recognized for her dynamic, Spirit-empowered leadership and commitment to ministry, missions, and creative communication, impacting communities both locally and globally.

Alumni and Friends Lunch | May 26, 2026

The LPU Alumni and Friends Lunch serves as the official gathering to celebrate this year’s honorees and bring together alumni, friends, and partners from across the LPU community.

Attendees can expect a time of fellowship, storytelling, and shared celebration, centered around the recognition of the 2026 Alumni of the Year.

The luncheon is held annually during Foursquare Connection and has become a key moment for the LPU community to reconnect, celebrate shared legacy, and honor leaders who continue to carry forward the university’s mission.
