University, Virginia, Alumni

At Life Pacific University East’s Fall Preview earlier this week, students came expecting to tour a campus and learn about degree programs. Instead, they encountered the presence of God in a way that forever changed their lives.

A Prophetic Moment: The Board’s Blessing

Just days before Preview weekend, the LPU Board of Trustees met on the East Campus for a historic gathering. In a powerful moment of unity and vision, the Board jointly blessed the Life East Campus, confirming their commitment to see this campus grow, thrive, and bear fruit in the years ahead.

This wasn’t merely a business meeting—it was prophetic. A declaration that this is not history repeating itself, but a new story being written. A new season for Life Pacific University East has begun.

A Holy Spirit Weekend

Following the Board’s blessing, Fall Preview unfolded in ways no one could have anticipated. Students arrived expecting information sessions and campus tours, but what they encountered was far deeper: the undeniable, tangible presence of the Holy Spirit.

This wasn’t just another college visit. It was an encounter with God.

Throughout the weekend, we witnessed healing, deliverance, calling, and commissioning. Worship filled every space. Students responded to God’s call. Hearts were forever changed. The atmosphere shifted from informational to transformational.

Leaders Empowering a Generation

Atlantic District Supervisor, Pastor Chanda Crutcher, continues to pave the way for the next generation through her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to see young people thrive in their calling. Her influence has sparked a movement of students who believe that their education is part of their spiritual formation and Kingdom purpose.

The Foursquare Church remains committed to equipping biblically grounded leaders who discern God’s voice and engage the world around them; a legacy strengthened through our partnership with Life Pacific University.”

Next Gen Coordinator, Neco Alexandre, led a powerful worship night that became the spiritual centerpiece of the weekend. His leadership ushered in the presence of God in such a tangible way that many students experienced renewal, freedom, and a deeper hunger for the things of God.

“There is a place in your heart that longs for God’s presence. We are not seeing a kingdom advance because we are not seeing a kingdom culture.”
— Neco Alexandre, Next Gen Coordinator

Across the campus, the Life East staff and students created an atmosphere of faith, excellence, and hospitality that reflected the heart of Christ. Every conversation, prayer, and act of service became a testimony of what it means to live out the Gospel in community.

“We’re witnessing a move of God that is shaping a new generation of leaders in the East. What began as a dream is now becoming a living, Spirit-filled story of transformation. This is the beginning of something new—an awakening that will impact lives for years to come.”
— Sara Huson, Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing
