Earlier this summer, a group of dedicated students from Life Pacific University embarked on a life-changing missions trip to Romania. Partnering with Foursquare Missions International, the students not only built houses but also ministered to local communities, leaving a profound impact on the lives of those they served.
Led by LPU alumni Tim and Dhana Wimberly, esteemed missionaries of FMI, the team of LPU students brought hope and transformation to the Romanian community. The mission trip, which lasted two weeks, was filled with hard work, heartfelt ministry, and unforgettable experiences.
From the moment they arrived, the students were ready to get their hands dirty. Their primary task was to build houses for families in desperate need of shelter. Through long days of labor under the hot summer sun, they laid foundations, constructed walls, and raised roofs. Each house built was a testament to their dedication and commitment to serving others.
Beyond their construction efforts, the students engaged in various forms of ministry. They engaged in community events, experienced worship sessions, and held Bible studies, touching the hearts of many locals. Their enthusiasm and genuine care fostered deep connections with the people they served.
With their extensive experience and deep understanding of the local culture, the Wimberlys provided insight and support throughout the trip. Tim shares “We were so incredibly blessed to have the LPU team with us for an incredible time of ministry. Thank you for the privilege to serve with such amazing humans. We love our LPU family!”.
The mission trip to Romania was more than just a summer project for the LPU students; it was a transformative journey that deepened their faith and broadened their perspectives. The bonds they formed with the Romanian communities and with each other will last a lifetime.
The mission trip to Romania exemplifies Life Pacific University’s dedication to fostering a spirit of service and global engagement among its students. Through hands-on experiences and heartfelt ministry, these students have not only impacted lives in Romania but have also been profoundly transformed themselves.
