Daybreak Leadership College

University, Online, Off-site

Life Pacific University (LPU) is excited to expand its Micro Campus initiative, a bold and innovative effort to bring accredited, Spirit-empowered biblical education directly into local church communities. These Micro Campuses serve as regional hubs where students can remain rooted in their church, receive mentorship from local leaders, and earn a Christ-centered degree—often with little to no debt.

Through strategic collaboration, LPU partners with churches across the nation to develop local sites where students experience high-level ministry training and academic excellence while being fully immersed in their home church environment. These Micro Campuses are more than just an extension of the university—they are a gift to the local church.

“Life Pacific University’s micro campus model has allowed us to develop young leaders at our church while also providing our students with an affordable path to a degree,”
Mark Warren, Lead Pastor at Grace Capital Church

A Shared Mission for the Church and the University

Launching a Micro Campus requires shared vision and shared responsibility. LPU invites churches who are passionate about leadership development and higher education to become partners in this movement. Each partner commits to:

  • Delivering Biblically Grounded Education in alignment with LPU’s values
  • Offering Adequate Facilities and Staff to support student success
  • Providing Intentional Mentorship and Discipleship, walking closely with students throughout their academic journey, and fostering their personal, spiritual, and leadership development

In return, LPU equips each Micro Campus with marketing, admissions, academic, and operational support, while providing access to its expert faculty and accredited curriculum.

“The Micro-Campus brings LPU to your people in way never before possible! I promise it will reveal dreams and calling in people you don’t know is there. We are already surprised by how many have responded who were just waiting for a door opportunity to be opened.”

Mark Chester, Lead Pastor Gettysburg Foursquare Church

Historical Background

In 2019, as Dr. Angie Richey began her presidency at LPU she worked with the team to pursue a much greater engagement and service to the local church and its pastors. The initiative was to begin research into the church partnership model and develop a program that would be relevant and beneficial to the mission of the church and closer to local congregations. The academic office worked to fully develop our four-year online programs and create this new partnership model. Dr. Daniel Ruarte, Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs states, “I am delighted to see this program expand to new levels and continue to serve the local church and its mission. Grateful for President Angie’s vision, the impact it is having on our students, and the work done by our enrollment leader, VP Sara Huson, to mobilize and expand our reach.”

Deep Roots, Big Impact

During a recent visit to Grace Capital Church, Sara Huson, Vice President of Enrollment at LPU, witnessed firsthand the power of the Micro Campus model.

“What I saw at Grace Capital was the healthiest picture of leadership development—young leaders immersed in their local church, receiving mentorship from incredible pastors, and getting a high-quality education while staying planted where they are called to be,”
Sara Huson, VP of Enrollment, Life Pacific University

This initiative enables students to graduate with a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, and fully accredited degree, while avoiding the burden of heavy student debt. By staying in their local communities and receiving substantial scholarships, students can focus on their calling—not just their finances.

The Church as a Training Ground

LPU’s Micro Campus initiative allows pastors and ministry leaders to pass on their leadership DNA, empowering students to practice what they are learning in real time, long before graduation. It’s a model that bridges classroom education with hands-on ministry—and it’s transforming the future of Christian leadership.

See It in Action at Foursquare Connection

This year at Foursquare Connection in Denver, LPU will celebrate the signing of three new MOUs with churches launching Micro Campuses in their communities. If you’re attending Connection, we invite you to stop by the LPU booth to learn more about how your church can become part of this growing network. Don’t miss the opportunity to see firsthand how Micro Campuses are reshaping the future of biblical higher education.

If you are a pastor or church leader ready to multiply the next generation of ministers, counselors, teachers, and Christian professionals—this is your moment.
