After nearly a quarter of a century of dedicated service, Luci Perez, Director of Financial Aid at Life Pacific University, is retiring, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, commitment, and godly impact. Her remarkable tenure at the university has touched the lives of thousands of students and colleagues, and her departure marks the end of an era defined by excellence and heartfelt service.

From her earliest days at LPU, Luci has been more than just a financial aid administrator. She has been a mentor, a problem-solver, an advocate, and above all, a steadfast supporter of students pursuing their God-given purpose. For nearly 25 years, she has helped turn dreams into reality, making higher education accessible for countless individuals.

“Luci is a living legend, having served students and the university for over 20 years. We are immensely thankful for her dedication and the profound impact she has had on thousands of students,” says LPU President, Dr. Angie Richey. “As she embarks on this new chapter, her legacy will continue to inspire us all. She will be deeply missed.”

“For more than 20 years, Luci Perez has been the heart behind financial aid at Life Pacific University,” adds Sara Huson, MAED, Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing. “Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to each student made it possible for so many to pursue their calling. Luci didn’t just manage numbers—she changed lives. Generations of students were able to study, graduate, and fulfill their purpose because she believed in them and found a way to make their education possible. Her legacy will live on in every life she helped shape.”
