Home E News E Expanding the Mission: Life Pacific University Micro Campuses

University, Online, Off-site, Alumni

Life Pacific University (LPU) continues to expand its reach and impact through a growing network of 17 active micro campuses nationwide—with more scheduled to open in the year ahead. These partnerships with local churches and ministries are reshaping the future of Christian higher education by bringing Spirit-empowered training directly into the heart of communities.

The Value of Micro Campuses

At their core, micro campuses allow students to pursue accredited degrees while remaining deeply rooted in their local church. This model combines the best of higher education with the discipleship, mentoring, and hands-on ministry opportunities that happen within vibrant church communities. Students are not only prepared academically, but also spiritually and practically, as they engage in ministry leadership in real time.

For churches, the partnership creates a pipeline of well-equipped leaders who are discipled within their own ministry context. For students, it means affordable access to quality education without losing the support of their home church community. Together, it’s a model that multiplies the Kingdom impact.

Stories of Impact

Pastor Huey Hudson – Restoration Church, Huntsville, AL

“I see LPU-Huntsville as a missing piece of ongoing, continued discipleship of Restoration Church and the surrounding area. I want our micro-campus to be a catalyst for young leaders to learn, grow, and develop into who they were created to be. I also see LPU-Huntsville as an effective vehicle for mature leaders to continue their learning and development process through the certificate programs that we’re able to offer. We believe that ‘Ministry happens at the speed of light,’ and I do not want anyone left behind.”

Pastor Alexis Glaze – Life Foursquare Church, Angleton, TX

“We are so excited to be participating as a micro-campus with Life Pacific University. For 40 years, our church has been committed to investing in the next generation. In different seasons it has looked different ways, but it has ALWAYS meant looking for avenues to pour resources and training into the generations coming up through our church community. For us, partnering with LPU is an answered prayer. It’s a way to continue equipping our students who we have invested in, in some cases, for 18+ years. We cannot wait to see how partnering together will offer our students even higher-caliber tools to do everything God has called them to do.”

Pastor Sumer Smith –  Grow Point Church, Amherst, OH

“Life Pacific University’s Micro Campus at Grow Point in Amherst, Ohio is dedicated to developing Spirit-empowered leaders through practical, hands-on ministry rooted in deep discipleship and meaningful engagement in the life of the local church. Through our partnership with Stadia—a church planting network committed to ensuring every child has a church—we prepare students to lead, plant, and multiply thriving churches with a strong emphasis on reaching and discipling the next generation. Our vision is to raise up pastors, planters, and ministry leaders who will spark a movement of church planting and gospel impact from Amherst to Cleveland and beyond.”

Looking Ahead

With 17 thriving micro campuses already active and more preparing to launch, the momentum is growing. Each new location represents a partnership with a church community passionate about discipling leaders and equipping the next generation for ministry.

As LPU continues to expand West, East, and across the nation, the micro-campus model demonstrates that the mission of training leaders can go wherever the church is—making education accessible, affordable, and transformational.
