Life Pacific University is thrilled to announce another milestone in our rapidly expanding Micro Campus program: LPU has officially entered into a new micro campus agreement with City Light Church in Las Vegas, Nevada, under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Jabin Chavez.
City Light Church has a strong reputation for vibrant worship, bold faith, and a deep commitment to raising up leaders who impact their city and beyond. Under Pastor Jabin Chavez’s leadership, the church has become a beacon of hope and transformation in Las Vegas. LPU is honored to partner with a ministry that so clearly aligns with our heart to see students equipped for ministry, leadership, and service in every sphere of influence.

This partnership is part of an extraordinary season of growth for LPU’s Micro Campus initiative. In just the last six months, we’ve welcomed several new church partners into our network, including Sterling Foursquare Church in Virginia, Ridgeside City Church, and Woburn Foursquare Church in Massachusetts, which is pioneering access to accredited Christian higher education for Portuguese-speaking Brazilian communities across New England. Today, LPU operates 17 active micro campuses nationwide, with more scheduled to open in the year ahead.
The micro campus model is transforming Christian higher education by bringing Christ-centered, academically excellent degrees directly into local church communities. Through this approach, students in the Las Vegas area can now pursue Life Pacific University programs in a setting rooted in discipleship, community, and spiritual formation without having to relocate or uproot their lives

The launch of the City Light Church micro campus expands LPU’s footprint from coast to coast, from Brazilian churches in New England to vibrant congregations in Texas, Alabama, Ohio, and now Nevada. Each new location represents a partnership with a church passionate about discipling the next generation and training leaders who will carry the gospel into their communities and to the nations.
