Family and Faith

Dr. Marion’s life was radically transformed when she came to Christ in 1971. That decision to follow Jesus, along with her marriage to Joe Ingegneri, marked the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and ministry. According to Marion, Joe, also an ordained Foursquare minister, is one of her biggest supporters in ministry. As first-generation believers, the couple often says they had to write their own handbook on “How to blend an East Coast Italian with a West Coast Mexican,” a journey marked by faith, growth, and deep commitment. Together they have three married children (Aaron, Carrie, and Scott) and ten grandchildren – a family deeply dedicated to Christ, their greatest treasure in life, and the central legacy they are building for generations to come.

Called to Lead Leaders

In 1980, Dr. Marion received a defining and deeply personal divine calling when someone prophetically spoke over her life, declaring that she was “pregnant with women leaders.” Dr. Marion prayerfully pondered this prophetic moment which she had no context to define, and her response became the posture that would shape her life and ministry: “Be it unto me according to Your will” (Luke 1:38).

That moment became a cornerstone of her calling. Over the decades, it has unfolded into a clear and powerful mandate to raise, equip, and release women leaders into their God-given assignments.

Within eight years of the prophetic word, Dr. Marion became one of the first three women ordained in her church, an early fulfillment of what God had spoken. Today the prophetic word continues to be fulfilled through her global leadership, mentoring, and empowering of countless women to lead with confidence, conviction, and Holy Spirit authority.

FMI Worker Supervisor Kihā Pimental affirms, “Dr. Marion Ingegneri is a visionary local and global leader whose unwavering commitment, especially to empowering women in ministry, has profoundly shaped and advanced our movement. ‘Kingdom Leadership’ is a fitting description of her life and work, and a title richly deserved.”

Publishing and Producing

A newer expression of Ministry Leader Network is MLN Publishing, a platform that publishes, develops, and connects authors within a growing leadership network.

Dr. Marion is the author of Choose Life: Unlocking Generational Blessings by Making Spirit-Empowered Decisions that Align with Biblical Principles, which reflects the core of her life and leadership, calling individuals to live with intentionality and alignment with God’s truth. Rooted in the Deuteronomy 30:19 call to “Choose Life,” this message has become a defining theme of her ministry.

At the core of Dr. Marion’s leadership is a deep dependence on the Holy Spirit and a consistent obedience to God’s direction. She leads with both spiritual authority and practical wisdom, modeling a leadership rooted in humility, vision, and obedience. Her legacy is seen in the lives of the leaders she has raised, many of whom are now leading in ministry, marketplace, and culture, extending Kingdom influence far beyond what one person could accomplish alone.

While recognized as a respected leader and visionary, Marion has an interesting habit: she always carries an apron in her suitcase. It serves as a personal symbol that she is, above all, a servant of the Lord. It’s a reality those around her see characterized in moments when she shows up because “presence matters,” and in each thoughtful pause to greet or hug the person standing in the doorway, simply because it’s an opportune moment to extend grace and Kingdom love.
