At Foursquare Connection, over 450 Life Pacific alumni gathered together to celebrate the Centennial Year of the institution. We were joined by men and women who graduated from L.i.F.E. Bible College, L.I.F.E. East, Mount Vernon, Life Pacific University, Life Pacific University Virginia, and all other communities branched out from Sister Aimee’s founding of L.I.F.E. Bible College in 1923. Our alumni in attendance ranged from the class of 1951 all the way to the class of 2023. It was a special time to be in the community, share a meal together, and celebrate 100 years of Life Pacific.
During the lunch, Life Pacific University’s Alumni and Advancement Office had the honor of awarding the 2023 Alumnus of the Year Awards to well-deserved recipients. The awards given were:
Kingdom Leadership Award: Reverend Steve Abraham (’90)
Lifetime of Service Award: Dr. Doretha O’Quinn (’73)
Beyond Borders Award: Rabbi Shmuel Oppenheim (’66)
Entrepreneurial Spirit Award: Derek Williams (’89-’90)
It is always a special time to unite with alumni from over the decades, from across the globe, and get to celebrate 100 years of transformational development of students into leaders prepared to serve God in the Church, the workplace, and the world.
