This year’s conference will explore the timely and essential topic: Preaching Truth in an Era of Lies.
The MPI Preaching Conference offers a transformative day for preachers, aspiring ministers, and church leaders who want to deepen their understanding of both the theological and practical aspects of preaching. For just $15, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from renowned keynote speakers, including Dr. AJ Swoboda and Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, with additional workshop speakers to be announced soon.

About the Speakers
Dr. AJ Swoboda
Dr. A.J. Swoboda is an associate professor of Bible and Theology at Bushnell University and has a deep and impactful history in ministry. With a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham, he has served as a college pastor at the University of Oregon, pastored an urban church in Portland, Oregon, and teaches at institutions like LIFE Pacific University and Southeastern University. A prolific author with over ten books to his name—including Redeeming How We Talk, After Doubt, and the award-winning Subversive Sabbath—Dr. Swoboda is also the host of the Slow Theology podcast and writes the Low-Level Theologian Substack. His work centers on spiritual formation, soul care, and the intersection of faith and culture.
Bishop Kenneth Ulmer
Bishop Kenneth Ulmer is the Presiding Bishop of Macedonia International Bible Fellowship, serving pastors across the U.S. and Africa. A former President and founding board member of The King’s University, Dr. Ulmer holds a Ph.D. from Grace Graduate School of Theology and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from United Theological Seminary. He is the author of several books, including A New Thing and Spiritually Fit to Run the Race. Bishop Ulmer’s leadership spans both the academic and church worlds, with a deep commitment to mentoring future leaders in ministry.
