Foursquare Licensing
Foursquare Culture & Doctrine
The Ministry Licensing Pathway Course
Life Pacific University is excited to announce that Foursquare Culture & Doctrine—the Ministry Licensing Course—is now available online.Â
This 16-week course is designed to prepare students academically, spiritually, and practically for ministry leadership and licensing within The Foursquare Church. By enrolling, students not only complete the required licensing process but also gain the added benefits of coaching, collaboration, and a supportive community.
Why Get Licensed?
Many career paths are enhanced by a ministerial license, which is why many of our students have chosen to pursue their license for business as mission, social work, counseling, chaplaincy and more!
While traditional ministry roles within the local church will always benefit, the opportunities are broad for those who desire to become licensed.
Even if you are Assemblies of God or non-denom, or with a non-profit, you can still apply to be appointed through The Foursquare Association.
Do I Qualify?
- Students of any major can pursue credentialing at LPU
- You must be upper-division approved (junior or senior) to register for the class.
- You will need to provide two pastoral references
- You will need to discern God’s voice
The Foursquare Culture & Doctrine Class (MIN470)
This class introduces the students to The Foursquare Church, covering five main components: Heritage, Identity, Doctrine, Polity and the Practical Life of the Minister.
The process coach is the professor. They guide students through the practical steps of the application process, prepare them for the interview, and provide additional lectures on the material, giving insight and additional support.
The generous discount, group model and additional support and lectures are what sets LPU apart from the traditional credentialing process.
