Life Pacific University’s annual student film festival, where Media and Communications students screen original short films created throughout the semester. Through MCOMM, I’ve learned how to creatively communicate the message of Jesus and curate content that is both authentic and impactful. I’ve developed a passion for storytelling that I hope to use in the future on mission that allows me to effectively communicate to people in a way they can understand, just like Jesus does!
MCOMM has shaped my faith and calling by opening my eyes even more to the creativity of God and the ways He created us to reflect that creativity. Through the gifts He has placed in me, I feel inspired to create art that points people back to Jesus, whether that’s through visual storytelling or any other creative outlet.Â
If you remain prayerful and trust the Lord with your ‘yes,’ He’ll direct you where you’ll grow the most, make life-long friends, deepen your relationship with Him, prepare yourself for your future, and feel most at home. I believe I’ve found all of these things and more at LPU.
