Life Pacific proudly acknowledges Dr. Remi Lawanson’s outstanding and longstanding leadership as Associate Dean for Leadership Studies and Director of the MA in Strategic Leadership (MASL) program. Dr. Lawanson’s unwavering commitment to equipping leaders to reach new levels of ministry, thinking, and effectiveness has been instrumental in the program’s success. Recognizing his remarkable contributions, he has advanced to full Professor.

Since Dr. Lawanson was hired in 2012, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a passion for empowering leaders to expand their potential. His visionary approach to leadership education has transformed the MASL program, making it a thriving hub for leadership development. He was most recently awarded the Teamwork and Service Leadership Award during Convocation Chapel, a testament to his character.

One of Dr. Lawanson’s notable achievements has been the establishment of regional cohorts in collaboration with District supervisors of the Foursquare Church. These partnerships have provided unique opportunities for leaders to access the MASL program and elevate their leadership skills. Dr. Lawanson has effectively connected with leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds through these initiatives, fostering an inclusive and enriching learning environment.

He shares his excitement for his new role, “I give God all the glory for I am who I am by His grace (1 Corinthians 15:10). I thank my faculty colleagues for their influence on my faculty journey because iron sharpens iron (Prov. 27:17). I also appreciate our students as well as my family who in different ways motivates me to perform with the highest level of excellence”.
