Life Pacific University held its Convocation Chapel, marking the beginning of the 2024-25 academic year. The event was filled with excitement, purpose, and hope as new and returning students, along with the university’s online community, gathered to embark on a journey of growth and transformation.
“We are thrilled to begin this new year with a strong sense of purpose and anticipation for what God will do through our students,” said Dr. Angie Richey, President of Life Pacific University. “The university is excited to continue its mission with renewed faith and a focus on our theme verse, Zechariah 4:6.”
This year, Life Pacific University is celebrating a significant milestone in its history, with over 20% enrollment growth this fall. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the university’s ongoing commitment to providing a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled education that prepares students for impactful ministry and leadership.
Key highlights include:
Largest Traditional Undergraduate Class in 5 Years: The campus is bustling with the energy of new students who are ready to embrace their calling and make a difference in the world.
Largest Graduate Enrollment and Residency Week in LPU History: Graduate programs are thriving, with a record number of leaders pursuing advanced degrees that will equip them for leadership roles in the church and the marketplace.
Largest Online Undergraduate Class in LPU History, Doubling OUG Enrollment: The university’s online programs have seen unprecedented growth for Ministry and Leadership and Organizational Management, allowing LPU to reach and empower more students who are balancing education with work, ministry, and family commitments.
“These numbers represent far more than just data—they represent lives that are being transformed and leaders who are being equipped to make a meaningful impact in the Kingdom of God,” said Sara Huson, MAED, Vice President of Enrollment Management. “We are deeply grateful to our dedicated staff, faculty, and faithful Board of Trustees who have worked tirelessly to make this growth possible. We also want to thank everyone who has prayed for us, supported us financially, and believed in our mission.”
As Life Pacific University gains momentum, the importance of Christian higher education in partnership with the church has never been more evident. Dr. Richey added,
“We are not just educating minds; we are shaping hearts and preparing servant leaders who will go out and change the world for Christ.”
