Life Pacific University has partnered with the Centro Hispano de Estudios Teológicos. This partnership between LPU and CHET allows Hispanic Bible Institutes to offer masters-level opportunities for their graduates.
Any graduate of the Centro Hispano de Estudios Teológicos, with the Ministerial Program Diploma will be eligible to apply to the Certificate in Academic Writing and Research Competencies program at Life Pacific University. Upon completion of the certificate program, students will be eligible to enroll in the Master of Arts in Leadership (Spanish) program.
CHET graduates with a Bachelor’s in Ministry in Christian Leadership degree are fully eligible to apply for the MA in Leadership (Spanish) program at Life Pacific University.
Dr. Daniel Prieto, director of the Master’s in Leadership (Spanish) Program, says “It was a great honor to receive the visit of Dr. Magdalena Sanchez and to formalize the partnership with CHET, one of the Hispanic educational institutions with the greatest impact in the formation of leaders and ministers in the Hispanic Church in the United States.
I am convinced that this strategic relationship will result in the formation of a large number of Hispanic leaders who will be empowered in God’s mission and equipped to lead in the job market and in the church”.
Dr. Daniel Prieto and Dr. Daniel Ruarte helped bring the partnership between CHET and LPU to life.
Dr. Daniel Ruarte, current LPU Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, shares “We are looking forward to a strong partnership with Centro Hispano de Estudios Teológicos (CHET). Listening to their story I was inspired and encouraged by their work in training Latino pastors and lay leaders for a lifetime of ministry. I believe we align in this mission and our Hispanic programs will provide a new opportunity for many of these leaders. Thank you, Dr. Sanchez, for your work, and Dr. Prieto for connecting with CHET to make this a reality!”
