Life Pacific University leadership George Bostanic, COO, and Dr. Daniel Ruarte, Provost, had the honor of attending the Association of Biblical Higher Education Conference in Orlando, Florida. Not only did they attend the ABHE Conference, but George and Dr. Ruarte got the opportunity to lead a workshop entitled “Leading a Campus Toward Student Success”.
Dr. Ruarte shares, “We are very aligned in mission with ABHE and that is very core to what a Biblical University is all about. Our vision for “transformational development of students into leaders to SERVE GOD” can only be accomplished if we stay true to Biblical Integration within the curriculum. ABHE truly helps institutions stay focused on that mission while providing national accreditation backed by the US Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). And it gets even better than that, ABHE is “a spiritual movement for higher biblical education” They understand who we are and what we are trying to do. Â As Provost, I am proud to be part of such an association, and I want to thank President Angie Richey for championing this partnership.”
Dr. Ruarte was elected to the Board of Directors in 2023 for the 2024-2027 term, representing LPU at the highest level within the ABHE. His leadership for LPU and for ABHE has been instrumental.

The Association of Biblical Higher Education comprises 162 institutions with a combined service of 71,000 students – an almost 10% growth in the last four years. Some of the newest members of ABHE are Asbury University and Seminary and Dallas Baptist University.
