Life Pacific University is pleased to announce that its Virginia campus has received approval to launch an accredited and comprehensive four-year on-campus Bachelor of Arts in Ministry program starting in the fall of 2024. This noteworthy achievement signifies a milestone in the university’s dedication to delivering high-quality education in the ministry field at the Virginia campus.

“LPU is thrilled to meet the needs of students seeking an enriching 4-year on-campus experience coupled with continuous discipleship. The B.A. in Ministry is designed to offer a robust theological education while equipping students with pertinent foundations in leadership, spiritual formation, and an understanding of cultural trends to equip students to live boldly for Christ and navigate the challenges of the world in which they live” says LPU President, Dr. Angie Richey.

The BA in Ministry program is designed to prepare students for roles within traditional church settings but also in the broader workplace and global context. By integrating biblical studies, spiritual formation, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills, the program cultivates a holistic approach to fulfilling one’s calling as students become disciple-makers.

Rev. Scott Martz, M.A., Alumnus, LPUVA Site Director excitedly says, “The launch of the 4-year degree in ministry at Life Pacific University-Virginia is an exciting missional milestone. This is more than an academic program; it is a commitment to shaping passionate individuals into Spirit-filled and empowered leaders for the Foursquare church. As our students engage in this new educational opportunity, they are not merely preparing for a degree—they are equipping themselves for a lifetime of impactful ministry wherever their calling may lead”.

LPU invites prospective students, community members, and ministry leaders to explore this exciting addition to its academic offerings. The university steadfastly upholds its mission of fostering the transformative development of students into leaders and within a Christ-Centered, Spirit-Filled environment.

Pastor Dale Jenkins, M.A., LPUVA Alumnus, Pastor, and Trustee shares, “The launch of the 4-year accredited B.A. in Ministry at LPU-VA offers students a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled education! It’s a game changer for students, families, and churches in the East”.
