A 1997 graduate of Life Pacific College, Charles Lee acknowledges that LPC helped him develop and refine the critical thinking skills that helped him gain confidence to enter any room and engage people of all backgrounds and expertise. In fact, according to Charles, “it was a collection of moments at LPC that shaped who I am.” He recalls conversations with professors and peers over meals discussing everything from theology to relationships to the future possibility of the Church. Most of all, he remembers learning about the power of human relationships and how Dan Stewart taught that “ministry flows through relationships.”
These experiences and lessons became a strong foundation for Charles as he left LPC to serve the Kingdom of God. After graduation, Charles had the privilege to plant four churches and teach at LPC. This season reinforced his understanding of his gifts and brought clarity to his future profession. As a result, he transitioned from vocational ministry and pursued his life-long passion for helping leaders better execute their ideas.
Today, Charles leads Ideation, an idea-execution company that specializes in helping brands scale their business by effectively integrating their strategic plans into day-to-day implementation. His mission is to minimize the number of people who take their ideas to the grave. Privileged to work with some of the world’s most recognizable and influential brands, Charles is a “front-runner” in Christian entrepreneurship.
At LPU’s Alumni and Friends Celebration on June 1, Charles Lee was presented the 2022 Alumnus of the Year Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit.
He remains motivated by 1 Corinthians 15:58, which says, “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.” Charles knows that his responsibility is to remain faithful and let God use his life for whatever He deems most beneficial.
Married to Tina for over 21 years and father to Jonathan, a freshman in college, and Alexis, a freshman in high school, Charles is known as “a man of excellent character, a gifted teacher, and an exemplary husband and father.” An avid New York Yankees fan, Charles and his family enjoy living in Southern California.
