Dr. Dick Scott, D.D., the seventh president of Life Pacific University (then L.I.F.E. Bible College), entered his eternal reward on October 18, 2022. An alumnus of L.I.F.E Bible College (Class of 1958), Dr. Scott served in various roles across the years – at summer camps, language schools, and living as an international missionary.

In 2023, Life Pacific University will celebrate its Centennial Year. After 100 years as an institution begun by Sister Aimee Semple Mcpherson in 1923 in Echo Park, California, Life Pacific is honoring its heritage.

Life Pacific University has been notified that the $5 million-dollar collaborative grant “Pathways for Tomorrow” was awarded from Lilly Endowment Inc.

Life Pacific University hosted Warrior Preview Weekend and welcomed many prospective students, family, alumni, and leaders onto our San Dimas campus

LPU alumni and friends stepped in with extra help and generously gave more than $37,700. Every dollar the students needed was covered! And every one of the 22 students are back on campus pursuing God’s calling.

LPU was recently awarded a Building Bridges, Deepening Faith Campus Grant through generous support from the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations, and Interfaith America.
