Meet Jaclyn Galvan, Academic Office Support Specialist

1. What is your favorite part of working at Life Pacific?

My favorite part of LPU is working with the professors and helping them behind the scenes in their classes. As someone who desires to be a professor in academia, I get to see first-hand the preparation and work necessary for each course. Working with professors and seeing their passion for the students is a joy.

2. What makes LPU different

LPU is different because there is such a strong team of professors and staff. Our faculty’s knowledge and desire to see students succeed in their future, whether in ministry or the workplace. Our professors care about their students as people; therefore, they also care about their success.

3. What department do you work in, and what resources do you provide LPU students?

I work in the academics department. I am the Moodle Administrator as well as the course evaluations administrator. I help students and professors with their Moodle accounts and send the course evaluations for every program offered at LPU. I also support the traditional undergraduate professors.

4. What is your biggest hope for Life Pacific Students?

My biggest hope for LPU students is that they follow Jesus wherever He takes them. It is not an easy road to follow, but God has such incredible plans for this generation of people; I hope they keep Jesus at the center above all else that our culture might try to sell to them. Jesus is worth it all.

5. What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

A fun fact about me is that I’m currently learning to play the bass guitar!
