The Life Pacific University Office of Calling and Vocation hosted the annual “Heart My Church” Event, which hosted 17 local churches on campus. Our OCV office believes in the importance of discipleship and leadership development that happens in partnership with local churches. Events like these work to easily bridge the connection between students and surrounding churches.

The “Heart My Church” Event is also a time for LPU alumni to join us back on campus, connect with new students, and share where God has placed them in their ministry. We welcomed back several alumni from various churches pictured here, including Marlene Munoz (‘20) from Florence Avenue Foursquare, Dru Rodriguez (‘22) of One&All, Braelynn Marron (‘20) of Water of Life Community Church and many others. Our alumni network is vital to the LPU identity.
Kristina Stover, Director of the Office of Calling and Vocation, shares “ Many students who come from other cities and states are leaving their home church and it’s our desire, and value, to support students finding a healthy church home during their time at LPU. We need the local church and we believe LPU exists to serve the local church as well. This partnership is important as we address the need this generation has in developing a biblical worldview”.
