State Authorization for distance education
The U.S. Department of Education requires higher education institutions offering distance education in a state where it is not physically located meet requirements for offering distance education to students residing within that state. Requirements vary by state.
Currently, LPU is not authorized to enroll students into online programs or courses who reside in the following states:
Alabama
Arkansas
Connecticut
District of Columbia
Georgia
Iowa
Michigan
Minnesota
New Mexico
New York
Rhode Island
We are continually evaluating our status and the authorization requirements within these states.
