Life Pacific University is pleased to announce the signing of a new Micro Campus agreement with Yakima Foursquare Church in Yakima, Washington. The partnership marks another significant step forward in LPU’s growing national network of church-based micro campuses designed to bring accredited, Spirit-empowered education directly into local communities.
The agreement was formally signed alongside Lead Pastor Chantal Edler, a proud Life Pacific University alumna, and her leadership team.
“We are so excited to partner with Life Pacific University,” said Pastor Edler during the signing. “At Yakima Foursquare Church, we have a long and rich history of developing leaders. Being able to partner with an educational institution to take that even further, I’m so excited to add this as an element of our leadership development. We have phenomenal leaders in Yakima, and I am so excited to bring this opportunity to them; to allow them to access education and for us to really champion the call that God has placed on their lives.”
Expanding Accredited Access in Central Washington
Yakima Foursquare Church, located in the heart of Central Washington, has built a reputation for strong community engagement and leadership development. Through this new micro campus, students in the Yakima region will now be able to pursue accredited degrees from Life Pacific University while remaining fully immersed in their local church context.
The micro campus model allows students to complete their coursework online while receiving in-person discipleship, mentorship, and hands-on ministry training through their church. This approach ensures students grow academically, spiritually, and practically without needing to relocate.
During the signing, LPU leadership celebrated the impact this partnership will have on emerging leaders in the region. Students will now have access to accredited degree pathways while being discipled by Pastor Edler and the pastoral team at Yakima Foursquare Church.

Strengthening the Pipeline of Leaders
For churches, micro campuses create a leadership pipeline that strengthens ministry from within. For students, they provide affordable access to high-quality Christian higher education rooted in community and calling.
Yakima joins LPU’s expanding network of 17 other active micro campuses nationwide, with additional locations preparing to launch. From the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast, the initiative continues to demonstrate that Christ-centered higher education can be both accessible and transformational when integrated into the life of the local church.
As LPU and Yakima Foursquare Church move forward together, both leaders expressed excitement and gratitude for what lies ahead.
The signing concluded with prayer and celebration, officially marking the beginning of this new partnership.
Life Pacific University remains committed to equipping leaders for ministry and service in every sphere of influence. Partnerships like this reflect the University’s ongoing mission to advance God’s Kingdom through education, innovation, and faithful collaboration.
