At Life Pacific University, two festive traditions stand out each holiday season: the Late Night Breakfast and the university’s participation in the San Dimas Holiday Extravaganza Parade. These events bring students, staff, and the local community together in celebration, showcasing LPU’s spirit of unity and tradition.
The Late Night Breakfast is a beloved event that offers students a break from finals stress with a comforting spread of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and more. It’s not just about the food—it’s a chance for students and faculty to connect, share laughs, and encourage each other before the chaos of exams begins. This tradition highlights LPU’s commitment to the well-being and community of its students. The staff and faculty spend the night waiting and serving the students and engaging in raffles, karaoke, and more. It’s a beloved time for the LPU community to come together for fun and for a festive tree lighting celebrating the reason for the season – Jesus Christ.
LPU also got the honor to participate in the San Dimas Holiday Extravaganza Parade, a local event that draws hundreds of people to downtown San Dimas. The university’s float, decorated with seasonal cheer, is a visible sign of LPU’s pride and its connection to the local community. Students, faculty, and staff march together, celebrating the season and fostering bonds with the residents of San Dimas. It’s a highlight of the LPU community every year to take part in the larger San Dimas community in which we are so honored to be a part of.
Both the Late Night Breakfast and the parade reflect LPU’s commitment to building connections—both on campus and with the surrounding community. These events are about more than just tradition; they’re opportunities to celebrate, relax, and strengthen the spirit of community that defines Life Pacific University!
