Life Pacific University is honored to welcome Bishop Dr. Kenneth C. Ulmer as Distinguished Fellow in a defining season of growth. A respected pastor, theologian, author, educator, and mentor, Dr. Ulmer brings extraordinary academic depth, pastoral wisdom, and decades of Kingdom leadership to the LPU community.

Dr. Ulmer holds a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary, a Ph.D. and M.A. from Grace Graduate School of Theology, a B.A. from the University of Illinois, and has completed additional graduate studies at Oxford University, Hebrew Union College, the University of Judaism, and Pepperdine University.

“I am humbled and honored to join the team of anointed scholars, gifted theologians, and passionate professors in this centennial season of the glorious story of Life Pacific University,” said Bishop Dr. Kenneth C. Ulmer. “I am especially grateful to serve under the historic and anointed leadership of Dr. Angie Richey as we join hearts and minds in the assignment emphasized by former president Dr. Jack Hayford: nurturing, preparing, and mentoring the next generation of Spirit-formed Kingdom leaders.”

As Distinguished Fellow, Dr. Ulmer will serve as a pastor to pastors and professional mentor to LPU Seminary students. He will lead workshops and lectures, participate in residency sessions, and provide spiritual and practical formation for emerging ministry leaders.

“Bishop Ulmer carries a generational mantle of wisdom, courage, and faithfulness,” said Dr. Angie Richey, President of Life Pacific University. “We are honored that his dynamic presence will strengthen our mission to develop effective and well-formed leaders. Students will be richly blessed.”

With more than 41 years of experience as Senior Pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church, Dr. Ulmer has shaped generations of pastors, leaders, scholars, and practitioners. His leadership has extended across the Church and academy through his work as Founding Bishop of multiple ministries, former President of The King’s University, and adjunct professor at institutions including Fuller Theological Seminary, Biola University, Pepperdine University, and United Theological Seminary.
