San Dimas, CA – October 2025 – Life Pacific University (LPU) hosted its annual Global Vision Week this fall, a campus tradition inviting students to embrace God’s mission in the world. Through chapels, student testimonies, and the Global Impact Fair, the week reflected the university’s deep commitment to preparing graduates who are both spiritually formed and globally engaged.

The week opened on September 23 with a powerful chapel service uniting worship and intercession across cultures and languages. Students led songs and prayers in English, Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, French, Hebrew, Korean, Vietnamese, Tigrinya, and Indonesian. Prayers were lifted for the Church in Pakistan, Cameroon, Israel and Gaza, Korea, Latin America, and Vietnam before the community joined in united worship. Shanon Hladek, (Life Alumna) an emissary with Foursquare Missions International serving children and youth across Southeast Asia and the South Pacific, challenged students to consider their role in God’s global mission.

The following day, chapel highlighted student voices in a speed-panel conversation emceed by Kristina Stover, Director of Career and Global Engagement. Four students shared transformative testimonies from their recent mission trips—describing moments of courage, provision, and faith in Kenya, Romania, Colombia, and Puerto Rico.

After chapel, the Global Impact Fair connected students with over a dozen ministry and mission partners, including Compassion First, Foursquare Missions International, Foursquare Disaster Relief, Arise Camp, Urban Exchange San Francisco, and Dream Center Esperanza Puerto Rico, among others.

One story of partnership particularly captured the spirit of Global Vision Week. LPU student David Sanchez first encountered Arise Camp as a young boy. It was there that he learned about Life Pacific University, an experience that ultimately shaped his educational and spiritual journey. Now a college student, David proudly represents LPU at Arise Camp and invites other students to attend.

“We love seeing this interdependent relationship as we encourage LPU students to be on mission together,” shared Pastor and Director of Arise Camp, Yaseer Handell.

Guests at the Global Impact Fair expressed gratitude and inspiration following their time on campus:

“It was an honor and delight to be a part; thank you for your continued kindness and Kingdom partnership,” said Traci Espeseth, LPU Alumna and Compassion First representative. “I experienced what I could only describe as a Holy Spirit-led shift in the atmosphere on campus… It is evident that LPU is living out its mission of transforming students into leaders who serve God with faithfulness and impact in the Church, the workplace, and the world.”

Mike Mercer, Founder and CEO of Compassion First, added, “Just a note of sincere thanks for allowing us to be involved and for the incredible privilege of participating in classes. I was so impressed by the students I met, LPU is drawing an impressive student body these days.”

Sam, representing Foursquare Missions International, reflected, “Thank you for hosting such a fantastic Global Impact Fair! I was truly impressed by the students’ enthusiasm and curiosity. It was a privilege to speak in classes and interact with students—their genuine interest and insightful questions made my time on campus meaningful.”

Throughout the week, students also learned about upcoming Spring Break and Summer 2026 mission trips to San Francisco, Puerto Rico, Rosarito, Romania, and Egypt—opportunities that blend service, discipleship, and cultural engagement.

Global Vision Week 2025 drew strong participation with many students leading prayers, worship, and testimonies, over a dozen partner organizations represented, and more than 100 students expressing interest in future mission opportunities to make an impact for Christ.

Through Global Vision Week, Life Pacific University continues to live out its mission of equipping students for lives of purpose, service, and global impact and preparing leaders to go into all the world for the glory of God.
