Life Pacific University welcomed the newest Warriors during the January 2024 New Student Orientation. NSO is a time when students get to move into the Residence Halls, meet their new classmates, greet staff and faculty, and experience what it’s like to be a new LPU student on campus.
After a day of check-ins, meals together, panels, and more, the student rounded out their first day of NSO with the Dedication Service. Commissioned by campus pastor Dan Fernandez, students were encouraged as they step into their new educational journey at LPU. The Dedication Service is a time for students and their families to pray, cry, and celebrate all the things that God is doing in the life of the student. It is such a special time for the LPU community to worship together and welcome these new students into the Warrior family.
Every New Student Orientation, LPU participates in City Serve. This is an event that sets the tone for the new students, where they get to experience LPU’s passion and commitment to servicing others just as Jesus modeled. Being a servant-leader is a value at Life Pacific and it is crucial to implement this in the welcome weekend for our new students. This year, LPU had the honor of serving Sonrise Christian School, a continued partner to our institution and a valued member of the San Dimas/Glendora community.
It is such a joy to welcome our new Warriors for this Spring 2024 semester!
