Life Pacific University ranked #20 out of 103 Regional Colleges in the West. Schools are ranked according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence and LPU continues to earn multiple spots on the list because of its high rankings.
Regional Colleges West #20
This ranking is based on factors such as the student-faculty ratio and graduates’ average federal loan debt.
Best Value – #7 up from #11 last year
The Best Value ranking indicates academic quality relative to the price paid by undergraduates, the percentage of all full-time undergraduates receiving need-based scholarships or grants, the average discount from the school’s total sticker price for full-time undergraduates, and the percentage of undergraduate students who received aid, grants, or scholarships.
Social Mobility – #2 up from #5 last year (#7 in 2022 and #9 in 2021)
LPU is proud to be awarded this Social Mobility ranking as the university works to change the course of incoming students’ socio-economic standing and helps low-income students graduate and enter higher income brackets.
The U.S. News Best Colleges rankings can help prospective students and their families compare institutions as they look for the best fit. More than half of a school’s rank is comprised of varying outcomes related to each school’s success at enrolling, retaining, and graduating students from different backgrounds with manageable debt and post-graduate success.
President Angie Richey states, “I am thrilled that LPU continues to advance in rankings and even more pleased to see our students making a difference in the lives of their families and communities. LPU exists for the transformational development of students into leaders prepared to serve God in the Church, the workplace, and the world. This recognition affirms the transformation that each student experiences at LPU.”
