Choosing a college means finding a place where you can grow, build friendships, explore your interests, and prepare for what comes next. This month, Life Pacific University invites prospective students to experience that possibility for themselves.
LPU Fall Preview returns October 22–23, 2026, at the university’s San Dimas campus, and registration is free. Under the theme “DSCVR. Discover Life. Discover You.”, the two-day event offers an opportunity to explore college life in a community where faith, learning, and purpose come together.

What Is Fall Preview?
Fall Preview is LPU’s largest campus visit event, designed to help prospective students discover whether Life Pacific University is the right fit. Guests meet current students and professors, explore campus, and experience the university’s academic and spiritual life.
The invitation is simple: come with your questions and give yourself room to imagine your future. What would it feel like to study here? Who would you meet? How could your education help you pursue the work God is calling you to do?
From conversations with professors to worship alongside current students, Preview creates opportunities to build connections across the LPU community. Families and church leaders can share in the experience as students begin to picture where they might belong and how they could grow.
What to Expect
Thursday, October 22, begins with check-in and dinner at 6 p.m. in the Simonson Building, with campus tours available. The evening continues with a welcome and Worship Night, followed by late-night hangs and a Next Step Hub for application help and questions.
Friday, October 23, includes breakfast and a student panel, classroom experiences, chapel, and an admissions and financial aid session. Guests can explore topics including Greek and biblical interpretation, financial accounting, human development, digital video production, worship ensemble, and future pathways in health sciences. Lunch from Habit Burger & Grill and another Next Step Hub round out the schedule.
Students can use these experiences to explore an existing interest or discover something new. Browse LPU’s programs and majors before arriving and bring questions for the people who teach and study here.

Get a Taste of Your Future Major
One of the highlights of Fall Preview is the opportunity to step into the classroom with LPU program chairs and professors. These Friday sessions give prospective students a taste of what they could study, introduce them to the faculty who would guide their learning, and help them explore how their interests could connect with a future career or calling.
The classroom experiences include:
- Psychology: “What Shapes Who We Become?” with Whitney Chrisman, MA, Psychology Professor.
- Biblical Theology & Ministry: “Decode the Bible: Discover the Power of Biblical Greek” with Mark Duzik, MA, Biblical Theology & Ministry Professor.
- Health Sciences: “Serve, Lead, Heal: Where Health Sciences Can Take You” with Luis Areyzaga, Interim Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Health Science.
- Business Administration: “The Business Challenge: Can You Make the Right Financial Decision?” with Jeff Bird, MBA, Chair of Business Administration.
- Worship Arts & Media: “Inside the Worship Experience” with Michael Bratun, MA, Interim Chair of Worship Arts & Media.
- Media & Communications: “From Idea to Screen: Create a Video That Connects” with Andy Hawksworth, MFA, Chair of Media & Communications.
Whether students arrive with a major in mind or are still exploring, these sessions offer a chance to meet the people behind LPU’s programs and experience the subjects firsthand.
Meet Featured Speaker Ben Graves
Ben Graves will be the featured speaker for Fall Preview’s Worship Night. A pastor and speaker who serves as Youth Pastor at Daybreak Church, Graves is passionate about helping the next generation follow Jesus wholeheartedly. His ministry focuses on reaching Gen Z and equipping leaders to make a lasting impact.
In his video invitation, Graves shared that his message will encourage students’ faith and help them explore purpose and vision for the next season of life and ministry. He also encouraged youth pastors and high school seniors to come experience LPU firsthand.
“You’ll learn all about an incredible university that is raising up leaders for the next generation,” Graves said. “Can’t wait to see you there.”
His message on Thursday, October 22, will be part of an evening that gives visiting students an opportunity to worship with the LPU community and consider how faith can shape their next chapter.
