University, California

Life Pacific University welcomed pastors from all around Southern California to gather for open dialogue surrounding several important topics that affect the current ministry climate.

Dr. Jeffery Tolle led the conversation about how LPU is educating and equipping future ministry leaders, reaching the next generation, this cultural moment, and changes to the currently offered programs at Life.

We were also joined by the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Daniel Ruarte, and Pastor Kurt Fuller (‘90) from the Warehouse Church OC who partnered with Dr. Tolle in putting together is fulfilling event. It is a joy to partner together with other pastors, leaders, and ministers in various vocations to facilitate these kinds of constructive, vital conversations.

Among the many pastors, leaders, and professors in attendance, were current Life Pacific University professors Jeffrey Bird, Dr. Tim Lee, and Aimee Selby, the Chair of the MATS program Dr. Ken Bringas, and campus chaplain Pastor Daniel Fernandez, as well as Natalie Werking, Foursquare’s Next Gen Director for the Western District, and Pastor Christ Stewart, NextGen Pastor at Bridge South Bay and a NextGen Regional Pastor for the Foursquare Western District. This was a special time to have honest discussions surrounding how to minister to the next generation and how each pastor and leader can institute effectiveness in their vocation through a Biblical worldview. Life Pacific University intentionally supports pastors and leaders in any way possible as we further our vision of transforming students into leaders prepared to serve God in the Church, the workplace, and the world.
