Life Pacific University hosted its second Pastor’s Roundtable and Luncheon where LPU partners with local church pastors to dialogue about relevant topics in the ministry space.
Dean of Ministry and Theology, Dr. Jeff Tolle, and ministry professor, Dr. Tim Lee, hosted this spring’s Pastor’s Roundtable and Luncheon to discuss “How to Church” and engage in conversation surrounding leader health, the importance of theological education, and both teaching and learning ministry practicals. LPU desires to bridge the gap between traditional University-level education and local church leadership and experience. Pastors have been given a say in what needs LPU can effectively meet to empower men and women for ministry.
These Pastor’s Roundtables happen twice a year, in the spring and the fall. All are welcome to join.

When a team of LPU students landed in Puerto Rico this spring, they had a plan: serve, connect, and contribute to the work already happening on the island through Dream Center Esperanza, a Foursquare ministry based there. What they didn't plan for, and what seems to have mattered most, was what the week did to them.

Esther knows she has much to give, because to her much has been given. “Jesus met me at my lowest point,” she remembers. “During a season when I felt lost and without purpose, He met me, freed me from depression and suffering, and restored a clear sense of calling and direction in my life.” Esther is now a sophomore majoring in Ministry at Life Pacific University, where she also serves with Student Ambassadors, a group of students who share the heart and mission of LPU at camps, churches, and other similar events. Here on campus, Esther sees how God is moving and working. “I always felt like our school is like a pan full of corn that is ready to pop,” she shares. “Holy Spirit is stirring [us] to be active in faith.”
