Life Pacific University has proudly announced the appointment of Sara Huson, MAED, as its new Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing. Sara officially assumed her role on January 1st, bringing a wealth of experience in Higher Education.
Her background includes serving in various capacities within small and large academic institutions, overseeing undergraduate and graduate recruitment, enrollment management, and marketing efforts. Notably, Sara is an alumna of LPU, further deepening her connection to the university’s mission and values.

As an esteemed alumna and seasoned enrollment professional, she brings a wealth of expertise and a profound passion for our mission,” affirmed President Angie Richey. “Sara understands the pivotal role that our partnership with the local church and organizations plays in equipping leaders who will make a lasting impact for Christ.”
Sara graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry and Leadership from Life Pacific University. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Arts in Education and is currently completing a Master’s in Marketing. Sara is well-versed in recruitment, enrollment, and team management. She has held notable positions at institutions including The Ignite Academy, San Francisco Theological Seminary, SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary, National University, and University of Western States.
Excited to contribute her expertise back to her alma mater, Sara’s focus is on growing enrollment and empowering individuals for impactful roles in the church, the workplace, and the world.
She stated, “When I stepped on campus for a visit, I knew this was the place to be. Christ-centered and spirit-filled is the perfect description for Life Pacific University. With over fifteen years of experience in higher education, I am thrilled to embark on this journey with Life Pacific University. Education has the power to shape communities and change futures. I am eager to be an instrument for change by guiding and empowering LPU’s enrollment team to support prospective students in pursuing higher education and their calling. As an immigrant from Brazil and a passionate advocate for the underprivileged, I am committed to leveraging my background and expertise to make a meaningful impact at LPU and in the Kingdom of God.”

She understands the large University processes as well as smaller Bible College realities. She is passionate about our mission as a Christ-centered and Spirit-Filled school and wants to elevate us to new heights. Alongside her professional achievements, Sara finds balance in her personal life; she is happily married to alumnus Tyler Huson, and they are proud parents to two young boys. She enjoys traveling with family, ministry, and adventures with her sons in her free time.
